I currently have 50 households that I created myself or that are from the gallery, all ages are represented there. How do we stop them? I thought we were told we could control the townies by putting them in our unplayed households bin? Yet, after a few Sim hours of playing if I check that bin I have tons of game generated townies in there.

Say, if you want a town full of Adam Levine (he's so fine) running around, then evict him 50 times and your world is full of Adam's. ETA: The duplicate is in your library, not in the game unless you evict the same family more than once. I didn't realize it was doing that till later, however, when I realized that what I thought was a super cute nose turned out to be an EPIC nose (poor Sim, her nose was massive).I used this to give her plastic surgery and then deleted the old copy. All you have to do is go into your library and delete the extra one. It will create a duplicate if you open a pre-existing household from your library into CAS. One problem though: if you pull an existing household from your library won't it save a duplicate copy of them when you leave CAS? This is better than the method I was using, thanks for sharing. I will try this method too next time and see which I like It took about 5 minutes tops and now I have 50 custom households to replace to pre-made townies. I did path one to populate my world with all the awesome Sims I found in the gallery. I like my Sims to live in Utopia so I tend to make them wealthy in nice houses. Then the motherlode cheat to make sure they can pay their bills.

The second path is if you plan on playing them, I do the free real estate cheat at this point and then move them into this house. You can either plunk them down into an empty lot and then hit the evict option to turn them into free roaming townies. Click on a household (family), down on the right bottom will be an icon that says "bring household into neighborhood". You can also from world view click on "Open my library" or do F4. 2- Click on an expensive house on the mapģ- Choose the first option "Create New Household to Move In"Ĥ- This will take you to CAS, now in CAS you can create your own sim/sims or pull them from the gallery
